My photos are pixelated how do I fix this?
First of all, open the file that you have been uploading. If it opens quite small, zoom in to the size that it would show on the Wiserr website. If it appears pixelated on your computer, then the issue is that the photos are low resolution. Files are often compressed when they are sent over email, uploaded to Facebook, or when the format is changed. We would suggest finding the original file.
A quick explainer on pixels from Maria Halthoff:
The problem with images being made up of pixels is that once they are saved at a certain resolution (both high or low), you can’t actually add more pixels to the image. This then means that you can’t enlarge the image without it looking pixelated. By stretching the image larger, you’re actually just enlarging the pixels themselves, making them more visible to the naked eye, therefore making your image looks pixelated.
If that’s not the issue, we suggest taking a look at this article on preventing grainy, blurry, or pixelated images.
